Meet the Team

Our Story

In Maryland's State House, there's an unspoken truth: those most affected by policy decisions rarely have a seat at the table.

After 15 years navigating Maryland politics—from the halls of the General Assembly to county party leadership—our founder witnessed this disconnect firsthand. Teachers impacted by education policy, small business owners affected by regulations, citizens seeking basic services—all struggling to make their voices heard in a system designed for insiders.

Good Governance Consulting launched in January 2024 with a radical premise: what if technology could level this playing field? Not by replacing human relationships, but by making the tools of effective advocacy accessible to everyone.

"I watched brilliant policy ideas die not because they lacked merit, but because their advocates didn't know which committee to approach, when to testify, or how to frame their message for political reality."

This frustration sparked Good Gov AI—an intelligent platform that democratizes political engagement. We combined decades of insider knowledge with AI technology to create tools that work the way government actually works, not how the textbooks say it should.

Meanwhile, we saw big tech companies circling government contracts with generic AI solutions—tools built by people who've never sat through a committee hearing or tracked a bill through crossover. That's why we launched our AI Consulting for Government Relations Certification program with Rich Goldman, PhD of LobbyLinx. Together, we're ensuring that the people who understand government are the ones building its future tools.

Today, Good Gov AI serves everyone from first-time advocates finding their voice to seasoned professionals managing complex campaigns. Because whether you're a teacher advocating for your students or a lobbyist representing major interests, the goal is the same: making government work better for the people it serves.
